IP and royalties representative
Rights placed. Royalties looked after.
DGI acts for rights holders. We place intellectual property, arrange who may use it, and look after the royalty that use earns. We also audit companies for IP they already have, and for grants, funding, and patent candidates.
A representative for IP and royalties. Not a law firm.

The work
Three ways we can help
Each one is commercial work for a rights holder or a company. None of it is legal representation.
Represent the holder
We act for the owner of a right. We place it with a company that wants the use, and we stay with the royalty after the license is signed.
Read about representationArrange the royalty
A license names the use. The royalty is the charge for that use: a term amount, an annual amount, or an amount per unit. The writing says which.

We review products, processes, software, brands, and research. You get a plain inventory of IP you may already have, plus grants, funding, and patent candidates worth a closer look.

We are not a law firm.
DGI Group Inc. represents clients on intellectual property and royalties, and reviews companies for IP they already have, including grants, funding, and patent candidates. We do not give legal advice, file patent applications, or appear for anyone in court or at a patent office. When a question needs a lawyer or a patent agent, we say so.
Royalties
What a royalty is for
A royalty is the charge for permission to use a right. It might be a flat amount for a term, an amount per unit, or an amount each year. The writing is specific: which right, which use, and what happens when the use stops.
The portfolio page shows examples of the kinds of rights this work covers. Titles and numbers only. There is no rate card, and no status pulled from a government file.
What the agreement names
- The right being licensed
- The permitted use
- The field, territory, and term
- The royalty, and when it is due
- What happens when the term ends
Audits
From a review to a next step
We agree on the scope before the review starts. The length depends on how much material there is.
